The IK 200 induction cooktop is versatile enough to be used as a portable unit or built directly into a countertop, offering virtually limitless application possibilities. The two cooking zones can be operated and adjusted independently; the rear zone operates at 1,800 watts, while the front zone runs at 1,300 watts. The cooking surface has a diameter of 24 cm. Additionally, the temperature can be easily adjusted between 60°C and 240°C. The integrated timer is simple to program—ranging from 5 to 99 minutes—and automatically switches off the cooktop once the set time has elapsed.

Advantage of induction hobs

The base of the pot reaches high temperatures in just a few seconds. One liter of water boils in approximately four minutes. Any reduction in power is immediately transmitted to the pot base, making precision cooking a breeze. Heat is generated directly within the pot base, allowing for a rapid response to temperature adjustments. Since the cooking surface itself does not get hot—but is merely warmed by the residual heat from the pot—nothing burns onto it, making cleanup effortless.
